Dr. Yokhanis

Dr. Yokhanis is a female physician who is originally from Carmel, Indiana. Her younger brother, mother, and father currently reside in Carmel. Dr. Yokhanis makes frequent trips back home to see them.
She graduated from Carmel High School in 2009 with honors and went on to study Pre-Medicine with a Biology Major and Chemistry Minor at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana.
After graduating from Ball State in 2013, Dr. Yokhanis then attended Indiana University Purdue University of Indianapolis to obtain a Masters of Science Without Thesis focused on Cell Biology and Human Anatomy. During those two years at IUPUI, she studied bone metabolism in mice with hopes of finding a treatment option for Osteoporosis.
After obtaining her Masters in 2015, Dr. Yokhanis then became a Podiatry student at Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine located near Cleveland, OH.
She graduated from KSUCPM in 2019 and then began her residency training at the Dayton VA Medical Center in Dayton, OH. During her residency, Dr. Yokhanis gained extensive training in foot and ankle surgery. She specializes in the treatment of diabetic foot care, sports medicine and sport related injuries, limb salvage, and elective foot surgery.
When she is not in the office, Dr. Yokhanis spends most of her time at the gym, where she does bodybuilding and weight training. She also enjoys reading, computer games, and spending time with friends and family.
